For outdoor use, the 3 wheeled standard electric mobility scooter provides excellent functionality while still retaining the small turning radius if you want to travel indoors (residence or shopping centre).

Travel scooters when used outdoors have problems with uneven ground while keeping the rider stable.

Standard 3 wheel scooters have larger tyres and have batteries that typically last 40km per charge. 

Standard scooters will have a higher top speed. 

Standard Scooters often have built in suspension to increase comfort for the rider. 

Generally the 3 wheel standard scooter is still able to be disassembled and transported in most cars.

3 wheeled electric mobility scooters can be unstable on uneven ground when driven at speed.  Caution is required.
